The social lifestyle hotel brand, Lub d, celebrates 18 years with its biggest birthday offer yet and a three-city series bringing adventurous travellers together through movement, play and shared experiences.
Lub d, the social lifestyle hotel brand with seven properties across Southeast Asia, is celebrating its 18th birthday throughout the final quarter of 2026 under the message “Still Playful. Just a Little More Grown Up.” The celebrations begin with an 18-day offer of 50% off rooms across all Lub d properties from 1-18 October 2026, followed by Move + Play Together, a series of active social events taking place in Bangkok on 24 October, Phuket on 7 November and Koh Samui on 12 December.
What began with one bold idea in Bangkok 18 years ago has grown into seven Lub d properties across Southeast Asia, creating welcoming communities where adventurous travellers can stay, connect and experience more of the places around them.
Now, as Lub d looks towards its next chapter and further growth across Asia Pacific, its 18th birthday marks both how far the brand has come and where it is heading next.
New Experiences, Same Lub d Spirit
For 18 years, Lub d has been a place where people meet, have fun and make stories together. That playful spirit is still at the heart of Lub d, now with more ways to experience it: meeting new friends and joining a party, discovering local flavours, getting active through fun activities, or taking time to recharge. Each experience gives travellers a chance to connect with others and see their destination in a new way.
It is part of Lub d’s mission to create travel experiences through unique places to stay, local activities and friendly service that connects travellers with the destinations and people around them. While the experiences continue to evolve, the Lub d spirit remains the same: easygoing, inclusive and playful.
This evolution comes to life through Move + Play Together, a series of active social events taking place across three Lub d destinations during the final quarter of 2026.
Created in partnership with Wilder, the zero-sugar performance hydration brand, alongside other supporting active wellness partners, the series brings together movement, play, social connection and local experiences.
The celebration kicks off in Bangkok in October, where the Lub d story first began 18 years ago, before moving to Patong, Phuket in November and Chaweng Beach, Koh Samui in December. Each Move + Play Together event invites travellers, locals and friends of Lub d to get moving, meet new people and have some fun along the way, with a mix of active challenges, music, food and plenty of good times.

From one property in Bangkok to seven properties in Thailand, Cambodia and the Philippines today, Lub d has grown alongside a new generation of adventurous travellers and the changing ways they experience the world.
