Our History
Narai Hotel opens its doors, transforming the Silom skyline with its 500 rooms and a towering presence as the tallest building on Silom Road. The hotel boasts Thailand’s first revolving restaurant, La Rotonde, soon to become a favourite of royalty and celebrities. Additionally, Narai Pizzeria introduces traditional pizza to Thailand for the first time, featuring recipes from the esteemed Cordon Bleu Institute.
Launched a Food & Beverage delivery service, introducing Thailand’s first pizza delivery.
Established the Rabiengthong restaurant, which quickly gained fame for its Thai cuisine and later became a renowned international buffet. In the same year, Narai Pizzeria expanded with a second branch outside the hotel.
Opened our second hotel — Triple Two Silom
- Launched Amanta Ratchada, adding another new venture to our portfolio.
- Launched the Lub d brand with the opening of Lub d Bangkok Silom.
Building on the momentum of the Lub d brand, we opened its second property at Lub d Bangkok Siam.
Lub d expands outside of Thiland with the opening of Lub d Siem Reap.
- Diversified our portfolio and became a seed investor in Pro Invest.
- Continued the expansion of the Lub d brand with our third Thai property at Phuket Patong.
- Moved into third-party operation and became the majority Shareholder in Cycas.
- Continued the growth of our catering business as Narai Catering achieved GMP certification.
- Expanded into the Philippines with Lub d Makati.
- Further diversified our portfolio with an investment into retail through Arcade.
- Further expanded the Lub d brand with the opening of Koh Samui.
- Further cemented our position in Bangkok with the opening of Riverine Place.
Expanded the Amanta brand with a second property at Sathorn.
- Established Vertiq Capital, an Investment Advisory and Asset Management firm.
- Created and launched our new brand Marasca – with its first property at Khao Yai.
- Following an extensive refurbishment, opened Le Meridien Mai Khao under a franchise agreement with Marriott International.
- Took our first steps into the Japanese market with the opening of Lub d Osaka Honmachi.
- Expanded the Marasca brand with our second property at Koh Samui.
- Deepened our position in Japan with the acquisition of Swissotel Nankai.
- Expanded the Lub d brand with the opening of Lub d Bangkok Chinatown.
- Opened our 8th Lub d property at Lub d Koh Tao Tanote Bay.
